What is Nifl?

Nifl gives every saved place a home, a plan, and a reminder. It works in four simple steps:

1. Save it — Share a TikTok, bookmark from Instagram, or add a place manually.
2. Organise it — Drop it into a themed collection like "Date Night Spots", "London Coffee", or "Tokyo Trip 2026".
3. Plan it — Pick a day, set a reminder, or sync it to Apple Calendar.
4. Go — Get a quiet nudge when you are nearby. Then actually do the thing.

Smart Extract

Share a TikTok or Instagram video directly to Nifl. The app analyses the content and automatically extracts the places mentioned — restaurant names, cafés, landmarks, bars. Save them into a collection with one tap. No more rewatching videos to find the place name.

Collections

Organise saved places into themed collections. Examples include "Date Night Spots", "London Coffee", "Mum's Visit", and "Breakfast Places". Each collection shows places on a map so you can see what is nearby.

Calendar & Visit Planning

Schedule visits for specific dates. Nifl shows your planned visits in a calendar view. Reschedule with a long-press, sync to Apple Calendar, and see all upcoming visits at a glance.

Proximity Notifications

When you are physically near a saved place, Nifl sends a quiet notification. There is a smart 48-hour cooldown per place so it never feels spammy. Toggle them off anytime.

Navigation Integration

One-tap routing to any saved place via Apple Maps or Google Maps. No copying addresses or switching apps.

The Origin Story

Nifl was built by Daniel, who kept finding amazing places on TikTok while working at Sainsbury's — but never actually visited any of them. Places got lost in bookmarks, scattered across apps, and forgotten. He built Nifl to solve his own problem: turning the places you discover into places you actually go.
